Emilian Timofte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincent Gaszynski in the 18th minute of play. Mihail Cecan came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Palanca's Cornel Vrânceanu. But to his dismay, Cornel Vrânceanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Emilian Timofte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincent Gaszynski, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. FC Haiduc Bumbata's Timoteo Elodio got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The FC Haiduc Bumbata fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when FC Haiduc Bumbata's Wincent Gaszynski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Timoteo Elodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilian Timofte came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Haiduc Bumbata's Timoteo Elodio. But to his dismay, Timoteo Elodio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Timoteo Elodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Wincent Gaszynski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Timoteo Elodio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Emilian Timofte made a huge save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wincent Gaszynski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Timoteo Elodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Palanca getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Vlad Doga hit a great ball. Timoteo Elodio took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilian Timofte. Emilian Timofte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 61 minutes into the match, Palanca's goal looked a bit too open when Wincent Gaszynski came free, but Emilian Timofte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Stanislaw Gruchacz managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Haiduc Bumbata's supporters rose to their feet, but Stanislaw Gruchacz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilian Timofte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When FC Haiduc Bumbata's Wincent Gaszynski in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palanca's goalie prevented a goal. Emilian Timofte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wincent Gaszynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitalie Briceag received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Emilian Timofte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihail Cecan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dumitru Chiritã in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Palanca's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Elodio came free, but Emilian Timofte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Elodio in the 85th minute of play forced Palanca's goalkeeper Emilian Timofte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wincent Gaszynski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilian Timofte having to interfere. Timoteo Elodio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Emilian Timofte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Haiduc Bumbata fully deserved thier win.
