An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidiu Secrieru in the 4th minute of play forced Copceac's goalkeeper Pavel Conac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pavel Conac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandru Nazaria, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Pavel Conac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Arnãut in the 15th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Tudor Iordache got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 22 minutes, Vitalie Madan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Otaci and the Copceac players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Otaci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitalie Madan to maneuver through the defense. Otaci's Viorel Conac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantin Caraman in the 29th minute of play. When the match had been going on for 35 minutes, Copceac's Teodor Postolache got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Viorel Conac. 40 minutes into the match, Copceac's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandru Nazaria came free, but Pavel Conac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maxim Cotorobai during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alexandru Nazaria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Pavel Conac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Dumitru Iordache put in a rough tackle. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Copceac! In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Otaci. Filip Pãcuraru stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pavel Conac. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandru Nazaria was the one to do the kick off. If Tudor Iordache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Copceac's zone, Alexandru Nazaria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavel Conac came out of the goal and Alexandru Nazaria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ovidiu Secrieru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Conac having to interfere. Pavel Conac came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Otaci's Alexandru Nazaria. But to his dismay, Alexandru Nazaria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Alexandru Nazaria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Pavel Conac made a huge save. If Vitalie Costin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the game, Ovidiu Secrieru recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pavel Conac. Ovidiu Secrieru showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidiu Secrieru got free with Pavel Conac in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alexandru Nazaria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Pavel Conac made a huge save. Alexandru Nazaria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Pavel Conac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicu Iordan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Conac having to interfere. When Alexandru Nazaria came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Otaci fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandru Nazaria couldn't finish the play. Pavel Conac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidiu Secrieru in the 86th minute of the match. Otaci's Vitalie Costin got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandru Nazaria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Conac having to interfere. Otaci's Nicu Iordan got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maxim Cotorobai kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Otaci left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Copceac.
