After 5 played minutes Rujnita UFC got a freekick which was hit by Marian Barbãneagrã. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Dan Cotofanã managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dubãsari's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Cotofanã was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimir Cotofanã breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Dan Cotofanã had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimir Cotofanã took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Cotofanã, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 played minutes, Dubãsari's Nicolae Vasiliu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vladimir Cotofanã came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dubãsari reached it. Valentin Nazaria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Vladimir Cotofanã tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Denis Nazaria fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rujnita UFC's protests and gave Denis Nazaria a yellow card for diving instead. Denis Nazaria hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Vladimir Cotofanã stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dan Cotofanã's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Marin Barbãneagrã sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gheorghe Vizitiu skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Dubãsari getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Nichifor Curcã hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrei Postolache got free with Gheorghe Vizitiu in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valentin Nazaria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Cotofanã having to interfere. Maxim Cârlig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Dan Cotofanã's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimir Cotofanã was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After 37 minutes Rujnita UFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adrian Isac who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Cotofanã in the 38th minute of play forced Rujnita UFC's goalkeeper Vladimir Cotofanã to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rujnita UFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adrian Isac was slow to take the kick. During this time Dubãsari's players had a chance to rest. Adrian Isac made a great header on Dubãsari's corner, it was just that Rujnita UFC's Vladimir Cotofanã managed to reach the ball for a save. Dan Cotofanã received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Vladimir Cotofanã tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimir Cotofanã stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dan Cotofanã's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Rujnita UFC's Vladimir Cotofanã proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Rujnita UFC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dan Cotofanã in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimir Cotofanã prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Dubãsari booed when Rujnita UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Nazaria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rujnita UFC's Vladimir Cotofanã played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Nazaria in the 59th minute of play. Dubãsari's Marius Epureanu got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Florin Damaschin kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Dan Cotofanã struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Vladimir Cotofanã didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dubãsari. Dan Cotofanã struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Dubãsari's Nichifor Curcã pulled a muscle in his leg after 77 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Dubãsari made a substitution. Anton Burduja replaced Nichifor Curcã. After a rather tough play, Rujnita UFC's Eduard Gonta got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 86th minute Dan Cotofanã shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Cotofanã saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 played minutes Rujnita UFC got a freekick which was hit by Florin Damaschin. Adrian Isac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Vladimir Cotofanã tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolae Vasiliu shot from long distance in the 96th minute, but Vladimir Cotofanã was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Rujnita UFC were victorious despite being under pressure from Dubãsari for much of the match.
