A collision led to Chișinău MZT getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Bogdan Nazaria hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Chișinău MZT defense, Ciprian Iovu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boris Doroftei. The Chișinău MZT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boris Doroftei should have stopped the shot. In the 64th match minute, Athletic Copaceni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anatolie Isac to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Daniel Burlea in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chișinău MZT's Dorel Musteatã. Sandu Speianu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Liviu Enicov came out and tried to block the shot, but Sandu Speianu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute Sandu Speianu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Enicov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Radu Iordache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Athletic Copaceni's Liviu Enicov got control of the ball when Sandu Speianu tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Sandu Speianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Liviu Enicov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandu Speianu in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute Radu Iordache suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Daniel Burlea charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Burlea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Athletic Copaceni getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Daniel Burlea hit a great ball. Chișinău MZT's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bogdan Nazaria in the 93rd minute. Liviu Enicov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandu Speianu in the 95th minute of the match. After 96 minutes Athletic Copaceni's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bogdan Nazaria who took care of the corner kick. The Athletic Copaceni fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chișinău MZT were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
