The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucian Buturugã showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lucian Buturugã showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lilian Ureche, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Emilian Proca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucian Buturugã having to interfere. Floresti's Lucian Buturugã played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lilian Ureche in the 40th minute of play. After 42 minutes, Vitalie Vrednic mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Floresti and the Copãceni players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emilian Proca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute Emilian Proca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucian Buturugã saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Copãceni could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Floresti throughout the match.
