In the 18th match minute, Ursoaia UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petru Stegaru to maneuver through the defense. Gicu Papuc acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nichifor Plugaru. After having played for 30 minutes, Sandu Vataman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ursoaia UFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandu Vataman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Biliceni's Ciprian Delinschi got a free kick in the 31st minute. Viorel Bold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandu Vataman in the 32nd minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Ursoaia UFC's Ciprian Vornic nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Viorel Bold made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 63 played minutes Ursoaia UFC got a freekick which was hit by Grigore Mereutã. In the 65th minute, Dan Urmasu made a precise shot to the right of Gicu Papuc. Ursoaia UFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Gicu Papuc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Urmasu in the 70th minute of play.
