Spectators: 6947 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1947, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stefan Iordan started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Nicolaevca CSF got a freekick which was hit by Vlad Untilã. After 6 minutes, Mihail Volontir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nicolaevca CSF and the Dorotcaia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Dorotcaia booed when Nicolaevca CSF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihail Volontir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emil Afteni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dragos Cârlig in the 14th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vlad Untilã in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucian Briceag saved Dorotcaia from getting behind. Mihail Volontir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Afteni made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Marius Musteatã sent off a good shot on target. When Emil Graur came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Nicolaevca CSF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Graur couldn't finish the play. Emil Afteni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dragos Cârlig in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Dorotcaia getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Dragos Prutean hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Dragos Cârlig reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emil Afteni. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 41st play minute Marius Musteatã came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emil Afteni. 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dragos Cârlig to make the kick off. Emil Afteni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Musteatã in the 55th minute of play. With a little luck, Dorotcaia's Lucian Briceag got control of the ball when Emil Graur tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute Marius Musteatã shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Afteni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Graur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Lucian Briceag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Vlad Untilã managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nicolaevca CSF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vlad Untilã was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emil Graur did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Lucian Briceag 70 minutes into the match. Stefan Iordan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucian Briceag having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dragos Prutean during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dorotcaia's Dragos Prutean got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute Marius Musteatã shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Afteni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Cotorobai in the 79th minute of play forced Nicolaevca CSF's goalkeeper Emil Afteni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Afteni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragos Cârlig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Anton Cotorobai fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dorotcaia's protests and gave Anton Cotorobai a yellow card for diving instead. Stefan Iordan struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Lucian Briceag didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nicolaevca CSF. Lucian Briceag made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vlad Untilã in the 92nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Stefan Iordan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucian Briceag was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
