A collision led to Regal Singerei F.C. getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Ruslan Dumitras hit a great ball. Marin Cazacu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Gheorghe Graur made a huge save. In the 10th minute, Regal Singerei F.C.'s Vasile Spãtaru seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vasile Spãtaru the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Regal Singerei F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vasile Spãtaru had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 11th minute, Vasile Spãtaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 12 minutes, Sandu Corjan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mereşeuca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandu Corjan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Mereşeuca FC booed when Regal Singerei F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruslan Dumitras didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Regal Singerei F.C.'s zone, Marin Cazacu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gheorghe Graur came out of the goal and Marin Cazacu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grigore Gusã kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Ruslan Dumitras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gheorghe Graur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Vataman in the 27th minute of play. If Ruslan Dumitras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruslan Juravschi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Denis Pârlea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gheorghe Graur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurel Vataman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vitalie Griceanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Mereşeuca FC got a freekick which was hit by Marin Cazacu. Cornel Luncasu kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 53 played minutes Regal Singerei F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Grigore Gusã. Gheorghe Graur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Cazacu in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurel Vataman in the 59th minute of play forced Regal Singerei F.C.'s goalkeeper Gheorghe Graur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Ruslan Dumitras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Regal Singerei F.C.'s Gheorghe Graur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Vataman in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Regal Singerei F.C.'s Ruslan Dumitras got a free kick in the 66th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Aurel Vataman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mereşeuca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurel Vataman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gheorghe Graur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marin Cazacu kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Aurel Vataman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Gheorghe Graur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marin Cazacu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gheorghe Graur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurel Vataman, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Gheorghe Graur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurel Vataman's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Aurel Vataman scored 1-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gheorghe Graur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ovidiu Blanari kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Sandu Corjan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gheorghe Graur. Regal Singerei F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mereşeuca FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Regal Singerei F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
