In the 4thth minute of the game Mihail Darie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Donduseni CSF's Iosif Cucu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nichifor Izvoreanu scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iosif Cucu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vitalie Cepoi charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vitalie Cepoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes Donduseni CSF got a freekick which was hit by Vitalie Cepoi. Iosif Cucu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihail Darie in the 12th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes Donduseni CSF got a freekick which was hit by Marin Ilies. 15 minutes into the match, Cristian Bold notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Donduseni CSF's Iosif Cucu. Iosif Cucu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Leonid Vântu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Vitalie Cepoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anatolie Bunea kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Marin Ilies's late challenge caught a Cricova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marin Ilies helped the player get up and apologised. Marin Ilies hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Iosif Cucu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Bold in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Cricova's Nichifor Izvoreanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iosif Cucu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Iosif Cucu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Izvoreanu in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Dorel Gusã had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iosif Cucu. Donduseni CSF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dorel Gusã was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 33rd minute Dorel Gusã shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iosif Cucu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anatolie Enicov during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anatolie Enicov kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nichifor Izvoreanu in the 35th minute of play forced Donduseni CSF's goalkeeper Iosif Cucu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonid Vântu got free with Tudor Cucu in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the match, Donduseni CSF's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Darie came free, but Iosif Cucu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Vitalie Cepoi made the kick off in the second half. Leonid Vântu scored 1-5 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tudor Cucu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tudor Cucu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonid Vântu, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nichifor Izvoreanu in the 60th minute of play forced Donduseni CSF's goalkeeper Iosif Cucu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iosif Cucu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mihail Darie in the 67th minute. Leonid Vântu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cricova were furious when Dumitru Pesmet was red carded, 75 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cricova fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! Donduseni CSF's Iosif Cucu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorel Gusã in the 77th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Nichifor Izvoreanu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iosif Cucu. That made the score 1-7 in the 79 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nichifor Izvoreanu in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iosif Cucu saved Donduseni CSF from getting behind. Iosif Cucu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Izvoreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorel Gusã in the 88th minute of play forced Donduseni CSF's goalkeeper Iosif Cucu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donduseni CSF's Iosif Cucu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichifor Izvoreanu in the 89th minute of play. After 93 minutes, Dorel Gusã mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cricova and the Donduseni CSF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dorel Gusã kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Vitalie Cepoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tudor Cucu having to make a save.
