Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vitalie Cepoi started the match with the kick off. After 5 minutes, Marin Ilies mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Donduseni CSF and the Izvoru FCA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Marin Ilies hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lilian Buga's late challenge caught a Donduseni CSF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lilian Buga helped the player get up and apologised. 13 minutes into the match, Anatolie Enicov notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Izvoru FCA's Viorel Cazacu. Viorel Cazacu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Donduseni CSF's Iosif Cucu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lilian Buga in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dumitru Dudãu got free with Iosif Cucu in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iosif Cucu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lilian Buga, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Vitalie Cepoi kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Lilian Buga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Izvoru FCA's supporters rose to their feet, but Lilian Buga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iosif Cucu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes into the match, Izvoru FCA's goal looked a bit too open when Vitalie Cepoi came free, but Viorel Cazacu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Lilian Buga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Izvoru FCA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Iosif Cucu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lilian Buga in the 41st minute of play. Marin Ilies hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

Viorel Cazacu made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Leonid Vântu sent off a good shot on target. Vitalie Cepoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Viorel Cazacu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marin Ilies struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Viorel Cazacu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Donduseni CSF. Izvoru FCA's Viorel Cazacu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Izvoru FCA from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Vitalie Cepoi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Viorel Cazacu. That made the score 2-2 in the 62 minute of play. Iosif Cucu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Silvestru in the 65th minute of the match. Viorel Cazacu made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Leonid Vântu sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes into the match, Marin Ilies had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viorel Cazacu. Izvoru FCA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marin Ilies was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After having played for 74 minutes, Dumitru Mereutã managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Izvoru FCA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dumitru Mereutã was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonid Vântu had several of the Izvoru FCA's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-4 score and a disappointed Viorel Cazacu as he didn't even see the shot coming. 80 minutes into the game, Dan Izbas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Donduseni CSF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Izvoru FCA the free kick. Iosif Cucu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Dudãu in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lilian Buga in the 82nd minute of play forced Donduseni CSF's goalkeeper Iosif Cucu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
