Viorel Cazacu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boris Dobândã in the 17th minute. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Ghenadie Vasiliu took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Viorel Cazacu to make any attempt to save it. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Viorel Cazacu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 27th minute, Alexãndreni's Ghenadie Vasiliu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Viorel Cazacu. Viorel Cazacu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Alexãndreni's Maxim Jereghi got a free kick in the 30th minute. Alexãndreni's Marius Casu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lilian Buga in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 played minutes Alexãndreni got a freekick which was hit by Boris Dobândã. Marius Casu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lilian Buga, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boris Dobândã got free with Viorel Cazacu in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marius Casu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Dudãu in the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lilian Buga in the 47th minute of play forced Alexãndreni's goalkeeper Marius Casu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ghenadie Vasiliu made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Izvoru FCA's Marius Deleanu got a free kick in the 51st minute. Boris Dobândã's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viorel Cazacu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Ghenadie Vasiliu scored 3-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Viorel Cazacu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84th match minute, Alexãndreni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihai Burlea to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute Ghenadie Vasiliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viorel Cazacu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Izvoru FCA getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Marcel Silvestru hit a great ball. Marius Casu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dumitru Dudãu in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcel Silvestru kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marius Casu. That made the score 3-3 in the 96 minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
