In the 4th minute Virgiliu Doroftei collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. After a rather tough play, Cricova's Cristian Halipa got a free kick in the 5th minute. Cristian Halipa kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Marius Casu made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Mihail Darie sent off a good shot on target. Teodor Pânzaru hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihail Darie got free with Marius Casu in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mihail Darie scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marius Casu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dumitru Pesmet's late challenge caught a Alexãndreni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dumitru Pesmet helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cricova getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Dumitru Pesmet hit a great ball. In the 34th minute of the match Cristian Halipa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marius Casu skillfully saved the ball. Dorel Gusã could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Marius Casu made a huge save. In the 41st minute, Mihail Darie made a precise shot to the right of Marius Casu. Alexãndreni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihail Darie in the 51st minute of play forced Alexãndreni's goalkeeper Marius Casu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 52 played minutes Alexãndreni got a freekick which was hit by Ghenadie Vasiliu. After having played for 54 minutes, Boris Dobândã managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alexãndreni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boris Dobândã was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marius Casu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihail Darie in the 57th minute of play. After 62 played minutes Cricova got a freekick which was hit by Dumitru Pesmet. Ghenadie Vasiliu shot from long distance in the 62nd minute, but Tudor Cucu was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. 65 minutes into the game, Mihail Darie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Marius Casu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Mihail Darie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 played minutes Alexãndreni got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Pânzaru. If Nichifor Izvoreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Alexãndreni's goal looked a bit too open when Dorel Gusã came free, but Marius Casu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Alexãndreni booed when Cricova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihail Darie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nichifor Izvoreanu kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Marius Casu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Izvoreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Marius Casu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorel Gusã in the 79th minute of play. After 82 minutes of play, Cricova's Cristian Bold made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marius Casu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Alexãndreni's zone, Dorel Gusã stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marius Casu came out of the goal and Dorel Gusã tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Nichifor Izvoreanu notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Alexãndreni's Marius Casu. Marius Casu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Boris Dobândã put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tudor Cucu. In the 96thth minute of the game Cristian Bold who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alexãndreni's Marius Casu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the Cricova players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
