Marin Ilies received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Petru Cârlig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lilian Pãduret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ghenadie Perju during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Donduseni CSF's Ghenadie Perju got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Iosif Cucu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigore Cotorobai, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Leonid Vântu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petru Cârlig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After 36 minutes, Grigore Cotorobai made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Donduseni CSF's Iosif Cucu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Grigore Cotorobai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Cucu having to interfere. Petru Cârlig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitalie Cepoi in the 43rd minute of the match. Petru Cârlig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitalie Cepoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitalie Cepoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Donduseni CSF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Centru FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Grigore Cotorobai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Grigore Cotorobai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Centru FC were furious when Marcel Baraboi was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Centru FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Donduseni CSF:s goal. Vitalie Cepoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petru Cârlig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonid Vântu in the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Donduseni CSF booed when Centru FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geoffry Daems didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ghenadie Burlea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iosif Cucu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 75th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Ghenadie Burlea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Cucu having to interfere. Donduseni CSF's Vitalie Cepoi got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ghenadie Burlea kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Petru Cârlig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonid Vântu, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute Leonid Vântu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petru Cârlig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
