Boris Botu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ken Kruus in the 3rd minute of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Ken Kruus dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Boris Botu, 1-0. When Liviu Pãduret fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ialoveni's protests and gave Liviu Pãduret a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ialoveni's Liviu Pãduret got a free kick in the 6th minute. F.C. Barcelona's Luciano Romero shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Boris Botu but with some difficulty. Pascual Ipar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Pãduret, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, 俞益铮 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute of the match Dorel Cheptene sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pascual Ipar skillfully saved the ball. Liviu Pãduret hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Pascual Ipar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tudor Izmanã, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, F.C. Barcelona's Tobiasz Cichowski got a free kick in the 20th minute. Boris Botu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ken Kruus showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. With 32 minutes on the clock, Mihail Cotorobai commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for F.C. Barcelona's Pascual Ipar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tudor Izmanã in the 41st minute of play. Pascual Ipar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Izmanã in the 43rd minute of play. After 45 played minutes Ialoveni got a freekick which was hit by Dorel Cheptene. Pascual Ipar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Izmanã, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Tudor Izmanã recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Ialoveni's Vasile Volontir nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pascual Ipar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Ialoveni's Boris Botu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobiasz Cichowski in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Izmanã in the 65th minute of play forced F.C. Barcelona's goalkeeper Pascual Ipar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, F.C. Barcelona's Pascual Ipar got control of the ball when Vasile Volontir tried to sneak it across the goal line. F.C. Barcelona's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Tudor Izmanã scored to the left of an out of position Pascual Ipar, making the score, 3-2. In the 84th minute Tudor Izmanã shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Ipar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascual Ipar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tudor Izmanã in the 86th minute. Tudor Izmanã received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Pascual Ipar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Vasile Volontir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ialoveni's supporters rose to their feet, but Vasile Volontir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascual Ipar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dorel Cheptene fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Ipar having to interfere. Ialoveni were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
