Iain Coulshaw who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Tudor Cucu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 34 minutes, Ken Kruus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Barcelona and the Cricova players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristian Bold scored 0-11 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pascual Ipar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, F.C. Barcelona's Pascual Ipar got control of the ball when Nichifor Izvoreanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Cricova could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than F.C. Barcelona throughout the match.
