The audience was convinced that Marius Vataman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ion Ureche was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Ion Ureche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Cazacu in the 9th minute of play. After 9 minutes, Nicu Plugaru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CS VISDEV and the Liverpool FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, CS VISDEV's Nicu Plugaru got a free kick in the 10th minute. A collision led to Liverpool FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Robert Babicki hit a great ball. Ion Ureche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marius Vataman's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. A collision led to CS VISDEV getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Adrian Botnaru hit a great ball. Ion Ureche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Stegaru in the 26th minute of play. Igor Brãgutã recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Marius Vataman, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 33 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ion Ureche was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valera Cernei in the 35th minute of play forced CS VISDEV's goalkeeper Ion Ureche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogdan Cazacu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the game, Liverpool FC's Cristo Gabino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ion Ureche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Monte Quintarnaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valera Covali in the 46th minute of the match. If Valera Covali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Liverpool FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valera Covali to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristo Gabino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Liverpool FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Vataman in the 55th minute of play forced CS VISDEV's goalkeeper Ion Ureche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Bogdan Cazacu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nicu Plugaru got his second yellow card in the match during the 58th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ion Ureche made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Valera Cernei sent off a good shot on target. Ion Ureche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Cazacu in the 74th minute of the match. Valera Cernei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ion Ureche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marius Vataman's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. CS VISDEV's Ion Ureche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Vataman in the 88th minute of play. After 89 minutes, Robert Babicki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liverpool FC and the CS VISDEV players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of CS VISDEV booed when Liverpool FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Babicki didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Teodor Ciuche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle sounded Liverpool FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CS VISDEV.
