The Liverpool FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Ovidiu Stângã's late challenge caught a Liverpool FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidiu Stângã helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Ovidiu Stângã hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Marius Vataman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anton Cãpraru. The goal made the score 4-0. Anton Cãpraru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Vataman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bogdan Cazacu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 played minutes FC Rapid Bucuresti got a freekick which was hit by Marius Burduja. Marius Burduja kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Liverpool FC's Marius Vataman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anton Cãpraru. That made the score 7-0 after 39 minutes of play. In the 44th match minute, FC Rapid Bucuresti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Gribincea to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

Valera Cernei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Florin Triboi could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Monte Quintarnaya however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, FC Rapid Bucuresti's Sergiu Stegaru got a free kick in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nichifor Vornic came free, but Monte Quintarnaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valera Cernei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Anton Cãpraru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nichifor Vornic in the 60th minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Monte Quintarnaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Marius Vataman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Anton Cãpraru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 67 minutes of play, Liverpool FC's Bogdan Cazacu made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anton Cãpraru was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd minute Valera Cernei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Cãpraru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anton Cãpraru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Babicki in the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Bogdan Cazacu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Anton Cãpraru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the FC Rapid Bucuresti defense, Marius Vataman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anton Cãpraru. The FC Rapid Bucuresti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anton Cãpraru should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when FC Rapid Bucuresti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nichifor Vornic didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Liverpool FC's Bogdan Cazacu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anton Cãpraru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. There was no doubt that Liverpool FC were the better team. Liverpool FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
