When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrei Bumbac made a kick off. Vadim Buga kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrei Bumbac in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petru Izbas saved Red United from getting behind. Cristian Tâbârnã showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Platon, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 75 minutes into the match, Red United's goal looked a bit too open when Ciprian Chetrutã came free, but Petru Izbas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Red United made a substitution. Emil Braga replaced Boris Platon. Tarabostes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vadim Buga in the 78th minute. The supporters of Red United booed when Tarabostes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petru Izbas prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
