But to his dismay, Emil Damian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 18th minute Eugen Speianu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Astigar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Dacia's Andrei Brãgutã dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Mihail Doga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Dobândã in the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Grigore Vrânceanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mihail Doga. Cimislia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Grigore Vrânceanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Bruno Astigar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Damian in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, Cimislia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Speianu to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Dacia defense, Ruslan Buruianã kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Astigar. The Dacia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Astigar should have stopped the shot. Bruno Astigar came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Cimislia's Teodor Arnãut. But to his dismay, Teodor Arnãut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. 48 minutes into the game, Eugen Speianu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Bruno Astigar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 2-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Emil Damian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Astigar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Teodor Arnãut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Astigar having to interfere. With a little luck, Dacia's Bruno Astigar got control of the ball when Eugen Speianu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Grigore Vrânceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Mihail Doga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihail Doga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simion Luncasu in the 66th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Simion Luncasu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mihail Doga was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 82nd minute, Cimislia's Ruslan Buruianã ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bruno Astigar. Bruno Astigar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-7. In the 86th minute Grigore Vrânceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihail Doga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergiu Dobândã scored 3-7 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihail Doga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the game, Daniel Triboi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cimislia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dacia the free kick. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Dacia. Ion Stegaru stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mihail Doga. 4-7. Cimislia's Mihail Doga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigore Vrânceanu in the 97th minute of play. Teodor Arnãut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Bruno Astigar made a huge save. The Cimislia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
