But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mårten Nord couldn't finish the play. The supporters of ＡＣＡＤＥＭＩＡ נυηєℓυ booed when Fc-Criuleni-City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Stähelin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Gerson Simões recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bono Chotov. Gerson Simões showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edson-Arantes Pelé stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of ＡＣＡＤＥＭＩＡ נυηєℓυ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fc-Criuleni-City:s goal. 56 minutes into the match, ＡＣＡＤＥＭＩＡ נυηєℓυ's goal looked a bit too open when Edson-Arantes Pelé came free, but Bono Chotov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matty Cash made a great header on Fc-Criuleni-City's corner, it was just that ＡＣＡＤＥＭＩＡ נυηєℓυ's Bono Chotov managed to reach the ball for a save. If Gerson Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bono Chotov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxim Scobioalã, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute of the match, Gilbert Michnik tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Li Feng Guo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edson-Arantes Pelé in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bono Chotov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerson Simões in the 74th minute of play forced ＡＣＡＤＥＭＩＡ נυηєℓυ's goalkeeper Bono Chotov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
