When Maria Marioara came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Mavian UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maria Marioara couldn't finish the play. Eusebio Jurdan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Matteo in the 22nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Dumitru Musteatã managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charlotte Hornets Sport's supporters rose to their feet, but Dumitru Musteatã was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karhan Çolak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eusebio Jurdan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Matteo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Matteo in the 31st minute of play forced Charlotte Hornets Sport's goalkeeper Eusebio Jurdan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Charlotte Hornets Sport's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Matteo came free, but Eusebio Jurdan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusebio Jurdan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victorio Matteo's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Matteo in the 37th minute of play forced Charlotte Hornets Sport's goalkeeper Eusebio Jurdan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Charlotte Hornets Sport's Viorel Agapie got a free kick in the 39th minute. Victorio Matteo succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. After the first half Mavian UFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Eusebio Jurdan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 51st minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. In the 54th minute, Mavian UFC's Florin Plesca dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 58th minute, Dumitru Musteatã left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Charlotte Hornets Sport fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Charlotte Hornets Sport's Eusebio Jurdan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Matteo in the 63rd minute of play. Eusebio Jurdan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maria Marioara, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Cristian Curagãu charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Curagãu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Charlotte Hornets Sport getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Cristian Curagãu hit a great ball. Mavian UFC's Dragos Ciocan was substituted for Mats Nord. After 68 played minutes Charlotte Hornets Sport got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Curagãu. 72 minutes in the game, Kajetan Soroka fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eusebio Jurdan having to interfere. Sandu Jereghi charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandu Jereghi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute Victorio Matteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebio Jurdan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandu Jereghi got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Sandu Jereghi kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Ani Lici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maria Marioara took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eusebio Jurdan. Eusebio Jurdan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Maria Marioara kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The supporters of Charlotte Hornets Sport booed when Mavian UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Costas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eusebio Jurdan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Matteo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
