Spectators: 7852 (Terracing: 5890, Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 156) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ādolfs Kadackis took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Spodris Lapotne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute, Indars Nīmanis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aļģirts Laucus, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ādolfs Kadackis in the 12th minute of play forced FK Varchii's goalkeeper Harijs Sestakovskis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the FK Dinamo defense, Elvijs Lūsis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvalds Rentovics. The FK Dinamo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvalds Rentovics should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Valdis Pumpiss kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Harijs Sestakovskis. That made the score 1-1 in the 18 minute of play. Ulvis Mardekājs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Harijs Sestakovskis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Ulvis Mardekājs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harijs Sestakovskis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 29th match minute, FK Varchii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Druvis Balateckis to maneuver through the defense. Ādolfs Kadackis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harijs Sestakovskis having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Valdis Pumpiss left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FK Dinamo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After 36 played minutes FK Varchii got a freekick which was hit by Romualds Pancs. Osvalds Rentovics made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvijs Lūsis in the 41st minute of play. FK Dinamo's Osvalds Rentovics played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvijs Lūsis in the 42nd minute of play. Harijs Sestakovskis came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Dinamo's Valdis Pumpiss. But to his dismay, Valdis Pumpiss quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The supporters of FK Dinamo booed when FK Varchii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvijs Lūsis didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elvijs Lūsis made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ādolfs Kadackis notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of FK Varchii's Harijs Sestakovskis. Harijs Sestakovskis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 59 minutes into the match, FK Varchii's goal looked a bit too open when Ulvis Mardekājs came free, but Harijs Sestakovskis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FK Varchii's Harijs Sestakovskis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ādolfs Kadackis in the 60th minute of play. Ādolfs Kadackis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Sebastijans Juška hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvalds Rentovics made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvijs Lūsis in the 72nd minute of play. Harijs Sestakovskis came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Dinamo's Raivis Basiņš. But to his dismay, Raivis Basiņš quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. 77 minutes into the match, Ādolfs Kadackis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harijs Sestakovskis. FK Varchii's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ādolfs Kadackis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. If Ādolfs Kadackis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulvis Mardekājs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ādolfs Kadackis took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Harijs Sestakovskis. Harijs Sestakovskis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-1. Harijs Sestakovskis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raivis Basiņš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Osvalds Rentovics successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 93rd match minute, FK Varchii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Spodris Lapotne to maneuver through the defense. FK Dinamo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
