Ralfs Baltauss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guntis Sagādnieks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Artis Modernieks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kenini's Guntis Sagādnieks got a free kick in the 17th minute. Rinalds Statkuss made an important save on a dangerous shot by Askolds Saubergs in the 19th minute. Valda's Artis Modernieks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romāns Sagalats in the 41st minute of play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kenini's goalkeeper Rinalds Statkuss, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The wind increased when Romāns Sagalats made the kick off in the second half. Guntis Sagādnieks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artis Modernieks having to interfere. When Kenini's Romāns Sagalats in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valda's goalie prevented a goal. If Guntis Sagādnieks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Kenini failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
