Spectators: 6855 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vilis Gruzdins started the match with the kick off. Olavs Svagers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umberts Pulcs, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Alvis Bigužs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dzintars Zmilusēvičs in the 9th minute. After having played for 10 minutes, Dzintars Zmilusēvičs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kiricocho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dzintars Zmilusēvičs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Kurm's Alvis Bigužs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilis Gruzdins in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kurm's zone, Vilis Gruzdins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvis Bigužs came out of the goal and Vilis Gruzdins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute Vilis Gruzdins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvis Bigužs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kiricocho's Olavs Svagers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Visvaldis Seflers in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Vilis Gruzdins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kiricocho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vilis Gruzdins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ārvalds Stekels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Ārvalds Stekels managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kurm's supporters rose to their feet, but Ārvalds Stekels was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olavs Svagers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd match minute, Kiricocho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilmārs Zubalēvičs to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Visvaldis Seflers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vilis Gruzdins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvis Bigužs having to interfere. Ārvalds Stekels struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Olavs Svagers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kurm. After 63 played minutes Kiricocho got a freekick which was hit by Ilmārs Zubalēvičs. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Monvīds Ramanis during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Monvīds Ramanis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67thth minute of the game Visvaldis Seflers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kiricocho's Olavs Svagers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anrijs Lutkus hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kurm's zone, Dzintars Zmilusēvičs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvis Bigužs came out of the goal and Dzintars Zmilusēvičs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ārvalds Stekels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Olavs Svagers made a huge save. When Ronalds Meitiņš came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Kiricocho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronalds Meitiņš couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Umberts Pulcs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olavs Svagers came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kurm's Ārvalds Stekels. But to his dismay, Ārvalds Stekels quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 90 played minutes Kiricocho got a freekick which was hit by Ronalds Meitiņš. FC Kurm's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
