Spectators: 6845 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1845, VIP seats: 0) Imants Smuksts started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ralfs Ziraps was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ingvars Ceriņš. An unexpectedly hard shot by Visvaldis Seflers in the 5th minute of play forced FK Emburga's goalkeeper Ralfs Ziraps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Kurm's Alvis Bigužs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monvīds Rungulis in the 7th minute of play. In the 7th match minute, FC Kurm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umberts Pulcs to maneuver through the defense. Alvis Bigužs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monvīds Rungulis in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of FK Emburga booed when FC Kurm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marģers Ēsma didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Visvaldis Seflers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ralfs Ziraps was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After 27 played minutes FK Emburga got a freekick which was hit by Ainārs Broms. The FC Kurm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvis Bigužs should have stopped the shot. After 37 played minutes Visvaldis Seflers rounded FK Emburga's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. Ārvalds Stekels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralfs Ziraps having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Visvaldis Seflers in the 43rd minute of play forced FK Emburga's goalkeeper Ralfs Ziraps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, FK Emburga's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ārvalds Stekels fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Visvaldis Seflers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, FC Kurm's goalkeeper Alvis Bigužs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Monvīds Rungulis. Elvijs Kobals's late challenge caught a FK Emburga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elvijs Kobals helped the player get up and apologised. Elvijs Kobals hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kurm's goalkeeper Alvis Bigužs, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Kurm's Alvis Bigužs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save FC Kurm from getting a goal against them. Alvis Bigužs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Imants Smuksts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FK Emburga getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ainārs Broms hit a great ball. In the 68th match minute, FC Kurm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ārvalds Stekels to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, FC Kurm's Ārvalds Stekels fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal, but it hit the crossbar and went out into the crowd. Imants Smuksts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Visvaldis Seflers scored 4-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ralfs Ziraps, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ainārs Broms came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the FK Emburga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ainārs Broms couldn't finish the play. Ralfs Ziraps stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Visvaldis Seflers's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Kurm fully deserved thier win.
