Ārvalds Stekels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Haralds Gulbītis made a huge save. With a little luck, Druvciems's Haralds Gulbītis got control of the ball when Ārvalds Stekels tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 18 minutes, Visvaldis Seflers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Kurm and the Druvciems players grew even worse after the yellow card. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gastons Ēlerts charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gastons Ēlerts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rūsiņs Sausiņš was the one to do the kick off. If Visvaldis Seflers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Druvciems's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Druvciems may have spent more time on the ball, but FC Kurm were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
