Spectators: 8000 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Indulis Klūģis started the match with the kick off. Ģirts Abulnieks took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfrēds Kirziks. Alfrēds Kirziks dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Ģirts Abulnieks came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Pruli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ģirts Abulnieks couldn't finish the play. Magnuss Kudurs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfrēds Kirziks having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Ģirts Abulnieks took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Alfrēds Kirziks to make any attempt to save it. Raimonds Indriķis-Redzīgais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Alfrēds Kirziks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Indulis Klūģis notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Pruli's Intars Baltābols. Intars Baltābols was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Uvis Druknais kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. If Ģirts Abulnieks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Magnuss Kudurs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Intars Baltābols made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingmārs Biezais in the 34th minute of play. Ģirts Abulnieks's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Alfrēds Kirziks skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 41 minutes, Raimonds Indriķis-Redzīgais managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pruli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimonds Indriķis-Redzīgais was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Magnuss Kudurs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfrēds Kirziks having to interfere. Intars Baltābols showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rihards Ontuzāns, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ģirts Abulnieks was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Pruli's Ģirts Abulnieks nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfrēds Kirziks made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 56th minute Raimonds Indriķis-Redzīgais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfrēds Kirziks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, YA Спартак was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rihards Ontuzāns to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by YA Спартак's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ardis Darva was slow to take the kick. During this time Pruli's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 76 minutes, Magnuss Kudurs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pruli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Magnuss Kudurs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elvijs Zivtiņš kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes YA Спартак got a freekick which was hit by Renārs Čiekurnieks. YA Спартак's Alfrēds Kirziks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ģirts Abulnieks in the 83rd minute of play. Ģirts Abulnieks struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Alfrēds Kirziks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pruli. Raimonds Indriķis-Redzīgais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Pruli players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
