Spectators: 8000 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 160) Gundars Cibuļskis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ģirts Abulnieks got free with Leons Zuzāns in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gundars Cibuļskis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Intars Baltābols having to interfere. When Vitauts Zeimots came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Pruli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitauts Zeimots couldn't finish the play. In the 11th match minute, FC Nightmare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Imants Elsiņš to maneuver through the defense. Pruli's Intars Baltābols played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gundars Cibuļskis in the 14th minute of play. Leons Zuzāns made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ģirts Abulnieks in the 22nd minute. Toms Bodendorfs hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Pruli's Ardis Darva shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Leons Zuzāns but with some difficulty. Henrihs Nedovis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Intars Baltābols tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Nightmare's Leons Zuzāns proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save FC Nightmare from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute Gundars Cibuļskis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Intars Baltābols saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimonds Indriķis-Redzīgais hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Pruli's Vitauts Zeimots seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vitauts Zeimots the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pruli protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vitauts Zeimots had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Vitauts Zeimots hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Intars Baltābols made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aivars Karote in the 46th minute of play.

Gundars Cibuļskis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Intars Baltābols breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henrihs Nedovis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Pruli's Intars Baltābols played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivars Krasinskis in the 90th minute of play.
