Jūlijs Pagrabs didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 7th minute. Puikele's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After some careless play in the FK Arsens defense, Jūlijs Pagrabs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kalvis Petrosins. The FK Arsens fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kalvis Petrosins should have stopped the shot. Jūlijs Pagrabs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Kalvis Petrosins made a huge save. In the 28th minute, Puikele's Romāns Brimers dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Nils Demids hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Romāns Brimers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adrians Silaraups showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alens Daugāts, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When Ludvigs Silkalns fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK Arsens's protests and gave Ludvigs Silkalns a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in FK Arsens fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 47 minutes, Puikele's Ingmārs Zorģis got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kalvis Petrosins. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romāns Brimers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kalvis Petrosins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romāns Brimers in the 56th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Māris Zoltners heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The supporters of FK Arsens booed when Puikele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Uzraugs didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jūlijs Pagrabs came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Puikele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jūlijs Pagrabs couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute Romāns Brimers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalvis Petrosins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jūlijs Pagrabs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Romāns Brimers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reinholds Judeiķis charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reinholds Judeiķis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FK Arsens booed when Puikele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinholds Judeiķis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Puikele's Adrians Silaraups proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Puikele from getting a goal against them. Adrians Silaraups made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alens Daugāts in the 94th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romāns Brimers in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kalvis Petrosins saved FK Arsens from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Puikele players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
