FK Cunami's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Letoon the free kick. After 11 played minutes FK Cunami got a freekick which was hit by Alens Zustrens. Raitis Namsons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomass Purvadzērve in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Letoon booed when FK Cunami was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Visvaldis Stiebriņš didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raitis Namsons stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomass Purvadzērve's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. The audience was convinced that Tomass Purvadzērve's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raitis Namsons was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 53rd match minute, Letoon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Imants Tensbergs to maneuver through the defense. Tomass Purvadzērve in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Raitis Namsons, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gunārs Kucenbergs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimirs Veidenbergs's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Tomass Purvadzērve could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Raitis Namsons however easily saved by the left post. Tomass Purvadzērve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Raitis Namsons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimirs Veidenbergs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunārs Kucenbergs having to interfere. Vladimirs Veidenbergs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raitis Namsons stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomass Purvadzērve's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. With a little luck, FK Cunami's Raitis Namsons got control of the ball when Tomass Purvadzērve tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Letoon could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FK Cunami throughout the match.
