PFK Smiltnieki's Agnis Cērpiņš got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raivis Pliss made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matīss Zeltiņš in the 9th minute. Arvīds Miksis kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Askolds Cvimmers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raivis Pliss read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Raivis Pliss was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Uldis Palkavnieks. Raivis Pliss stood somewhat misplaced when Matīss Zeltiņš came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 31 minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arvīds Miksis during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 played minutes FK Petraici got a freekick which was hit by Arvīds Miksis. Askolds Cvimmers kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Konstantīns Veidenbaums received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Dāgs Kairāns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agnis Cērpiņš made a kick off. In the 59th minute, Konstantīns Veidenbaums got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Konstantīns Veidenbaums came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the FK Petraici fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konstantīns Veidenbaums couldn't finish the play. Konstantīns Veidenbaums in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dāgs Kairāns, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. PFK Smiltnieki's Dāgs Kairāns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anatols Kiverjaks in the 89th minute of play. Dāgs Kairāns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anatols Kiverjaks, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. PFK Smiltnieki's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
