Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Romualds Bulis started the match with the kick off. Valērijs Krims received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Indars Prulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valērijs Pelnis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dainis Fizers having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Valērijs Krims's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Indars Prulis was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After having played for 15 minutes, Kaspars Pilsarājs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Koaknese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaspars Pilsarājs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valērijs Pelnis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dainis Fizers having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Valērijs Krims cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Indars Prulis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valērijs Pelnis took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dainis Fizers. Dainis Fizers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Valērijs Pelnis struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Dainis Fizers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Virdzes. Indars Prulis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaspars Pilsarājs in the 30th minute. Indars Prulis came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by SK Koaknese's Kaspars Pilsarājs. But to his dismay, Kaspars Pilsarājs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Kaspars Pilsarājs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Indars Prulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaspars Pilsarājs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valērijs Krims fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Indars Prulis having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Valērijs Krims made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Valērijs Krims's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Indars Prulis was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. When Kaspars Pilsarājs came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the SK Koaknese fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaspars Pilsarājs couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the match, Virdzes's goal looked a bit too open when Valērijs Krims came free, but Indars Prulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Indars Prulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaspars Pilsarājs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaspars Pilsarājs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Indars Prulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76thth minute of the game Kaspars Pilsarājs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Virdzes's Indars Prulis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th match minute, Virdzes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulis Muzikants to maneuver through the defense. Indars Prulis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valērijs Krims's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Kaspars Pilsarājs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When SK Koaknese's Valērijs Krims in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Virdzes's goalie prevented a goal. There was no doubt that SK Koaknese were the better team. SK Koaknese's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
