FC Melluži's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕ the free kick. 7 minutes into the match, FC Melluži's goal looked a bit too open when Sentis Smuidris came free, but Kostas Birbas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕ booed when FC Melluži was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldonis Zvibulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sentis Smuidris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aysan Taykara charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aysan Taykara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕ getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Aysan Taykara hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Smuidris Vāvers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕'s Sentis Smuidris got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Rūsiņs Tračevskis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕'s supporters rose to their feet, but Rūsiņs Tračevskis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kostas Birbas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th match minute, FC Melluži was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raits Štolcs to maneuver through the defense. Maksis Simins kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕'s Rūsiņs Tračevskis got a free kick in the 37th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕'s goalkeeper Smuidris Vāvers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lauris Rebenis. Kostas Birbas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rūsiņs Tračevskis in the 46th minute of the match. If Rūsiņs Tračevskis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Smuidris Vāvers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oļģerts Ezermala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aldonis Zvibulis took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Smuidris Vāvers. Smuidris Vāvers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Oļģerts Ezermala took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Smuidris Vāvers. Smuidris Vāvers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 66th match minute, Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilmārs Rusmanis to maneuver through the defense. Smuidris Vāvers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Āris Cicis, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. A collision led to FC Melluži getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Aldonis Zvibulis hit a great ball. In the 71st minute Oļģerts Ezermala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Smuidris Vāvers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kostas Birbas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sentis Smuidris in the 76th minute of the match. The corner ended in Pāvils Paskauskas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Melluži's Kostas Birbas did a great save. When Rūsiņs Tračevskis came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rūsiņs Tračevskis couldn't finish the play. Rūsiņs Tračevskis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Kostas Birbas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rūsiņs Tračevskis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Birbas having to interfere. A collision led to Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕ getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Amador Bernard hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Bernard in the 90th minute of play forced FC Melluži's goalkeeper Kostas Birbas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Smuidris Vāvers came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Melluži's Oļģerts Ezermala. But to his dismay, Oļģerts Ezermala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. FC Melluži's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
