Ricardo Lorup took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armands Bumaga-Papīrs. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ricardo Lorup could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Armands Bumaga-Papīrs made a huge save. With a little luck, SK Riga 1998's Armands Bumaga-Papīrs got control of the ball when Ricardo Lorup tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 17 played minutes Sīmanis Garais rounded SK Riga 1998's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. In the 20th minute, Laimiņs Staķēns ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Laimiņs Staķēns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sīmanis Garais received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs came out and tried to block the shot, but Sīmanis Garais slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, SK Riga 1998's Dāvids Svikulis got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, FK Pērles's Sīmanis Garais ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Armands Bumaga-Papīrs. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sīmanis Garais, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Laimiņs Staķēns cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sīmanis Garais struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Pērles. After 45 played minutes SK Riga 1998 got a freekick which was hit by Ingus Štokenbergs. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

FK Pērles made a substitution. Dans Pikums replaced Zigrīds Mūrmanis. 53 minutes into the game, Laimiņs Staķēns cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dāvids Svikulis hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Laimiņs Staķēns's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armands Bumaga-Papīrs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Lorup in the 59th minute of play forced SK Riga 1998's goalkeeper Armands Bumaga-Papīrs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Sīmanis Garais made a precise shot to the right of Armands Bumaga-Papīrs. SK Riga 1998's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. 65 minutes into the match, SK Riga 1998's goal looked a bit too open when Sīmanis Garais came free, but Armands Bumaga-Papīrs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Lorup, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. When FK Pērles's Ricardo Lorup in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Lorup, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Laimiņs Staķēns had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armands Bumaga-Papīrs. SK Riga 1998's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laimiņs Staķēns was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. SK Riga 1998's Daumants Venners managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dans Pikums in the 84 minute of the game. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Pērles's Ricardo Lorup. But to his dismay, Ricardo Lorup quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Laimiņs Staķēns took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armands Bumaga-Papīrs. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Lorup in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Ricardo Lorup left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FK Pērles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0. There was no doubt that FK Pērles were the better team. FK Pērles's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
