Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jevgenijs Cavins kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute, Edijs Larins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jevgenijs Cavins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristiāns Orluks having to interfere. A collision led to FC Royal Academy getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Mareks Pavlovskis hit a great ball. Kristiāns Orluks was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Jevgenijs Cavins capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jevgenijs Cavins really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 25thth minute of the game Normunds Mulareks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PFK Salanyetys's Tedis Musailovs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tedis Musailovs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Skaidris Mačulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 31 minutes, Skaidris Mačulis made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. PFK Salanyetys's Tedis Musailovs tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute Normunds Mulareks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tedis Musailovs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Normunds Mulareks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Tedis Musailovs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Normunds Mulareks to make the kick off. Edijs Larins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristiāns Orluks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Royal Academy's Aloizs Massaliņš got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute Jevgenijs Cavins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristiāns Orluks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edijs Kulvecs took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristiāns Orluks. Kristiāns Orluks dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Tedis Musailovs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Normunds Mulareks in the 65th minute of play. Normunds Mulareks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tedis Musailovs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Normunds Mulareks, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 75 minutes into the match, FC Royal Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Edijs Larins came free, but Kristiāns Orluks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 played minutes PFK Salanyetys got a freekick which was hit by Centis Tirss. Tedis Musailovs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Normunds Mulareks in the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Normunds Mulareks in the 91st minute of play forced PFK Salanyetys's goalkeeper Tedis Musailovs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Normunds Mulareks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, PFK Salanyetys could leave the field as winners, despite FC Royal Academy having more of the ball for most of the match.
