If Mário Modesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 played minutes PFK Salanyetys got a freekick which was hit by Varis Dravnieks. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Mário Modesto managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Nereta's supporters rose to their feet, but Mário Modesto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tedis Musailovs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mário Modesto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tedis Musailovs having to make a save. 37 minutes into the match, FC Nereta's Mário Modesto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tedis Musailovs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Modesto in the 39th minute of play forced PFK Salanyetys's goalkeeper Tedis Musailovs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jevgenijs Cavins to strike the kick off in the second half. Mário Modesto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tedis Musailovs having to make a save. After some careless play in the PFK Salanyetys defense, Ēriks Mincis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tedis Musailovs. The PFK Salanyetys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tedis Musailovs should have stopped the shot. Pavel Tankovich struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Tedis Musailovs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Nereta. Mário Modestos short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Tedis Musailovs to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Elvis Kalinicevs kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Tedis Musailovs was a little too slow when Mário Modesto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ēriks Mincis got free with Tedis Musailovs in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Santos Cerilo managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Nereta's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Cerilo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tedis Musailovs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute, Ēriks Mincis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Nereta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Ēriks Mincis came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tedis Musailovs could save by the left post. Pavel Tankovich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mário Modesto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, PFK Salanyetys's goalkeeper Tedis Musailovs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mário Modesto. When the final whistle sounded FC Nereta left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than PFK Salanyetys.
