Spectators: 8294 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 2119, VIP seats: 175) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Druvis Botāns kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Druvis Botāns in the 9th minute of play forced FK Pērles's goalkeeper Germano das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gints Levans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laimiņs Staķēns in the 12th minute of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Druvis Botāns managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polkas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Druvis Botāns was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viesturs Vidavs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Germano das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FK Pērles's Zigrīds Mūrmanis got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 23rd minute Laimiņs Staķēns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gints Levans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gints Levans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laimiņs Staķēns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gints Levans came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Pērles's Sīmanis Garais. But to his dismay, Sīmanis Garais quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sandis Tobiass, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 47th match minute, Polkas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Druvis Botāns to maneuver through the defense. FK Pērles made a substitution. Dans Pikums replaced Zigrīds Mūrmanis. FK Pērles's Roberts Biete was substituted for Dāvis Reķis. FK Pērles's Mārcis Lapains was substituted for Silvestrs Ābele. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laimiņs Staķēns to strike the kick off in the second half. The corner led FK Pērles's Laimiņs Staķēns to fire away a dangerous shot which Gints Levans despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Polkas's goalkeeper Gints Levans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valfrīds Bakāns. Sandis Tobiass was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Polkas's goalkeeper Gints Levans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laimiņs Staķēns. Druvis Botāns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Germano das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Polkas's Gints Levans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Polkas from getting a goal against them. Ricardo Lorup hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 81st match minute, FK Pērles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberts Biete to maneuver through the defense. Druvis Botāns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Germano das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Druvis Botāns managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viesturs Vidavs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano das Neves having to interfere. Gints Levans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Lorup in the 96th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Polkas's goal looked a bit too open when Sīmanis Garais came free, but Gints Levans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gints Levans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valfrīds Bakāns, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. FK Pērles's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
