Spectators: 9348 (Terracing: 7000, Seating: 2161, VIP seats: 187) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aleksandrs Zaluckis kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, FC Whiskey Team's Vilis Baturiņš got control of the ball when Carolo Franco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 5 minutes into the game, Zigrīds Spandegs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Whiskey Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC BALTINAVA the free kick. FC BALTINAVA made a substitution. Viesturs Medinskis replaced Aleksandrs Zaluckis. Zigrīds Spandegs kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Everts Kalpotājs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Oskars Jurjānis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Viesturs Medinskis managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC BALTINAVA's supporters rose to their feet, but Viesturs Medinskis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilis Baturiņš breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Viesturs Medinskis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC BALTINAVA's Carolo Franco got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oskars Jurjānis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ainārs Spincis, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 22nd match minute, FC BALTINAVA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umberts Mežainis to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Carolo Franco notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC Whiskey Team's Vilis Baturiņš. Vilis Baturiņš was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Viesturs Medinskis came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the FC BALTINAVA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viesturs Medinskis couldn't finish the play. Vilis Baturiņš made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Tadeo Lartaun sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of FC Whiskey Team booed when FC BALTINAVA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldis Krumholds didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carolo Francos short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Vilis Baturiņš to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 34 minutes into the game, Viesturs Medinskis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vilis Baturiņš. Viesturs Medinskis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 37 minutes, Knuts Matrēvics mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Whiskey Team and the FC BALTINAVA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th match minute, FC Whiskey Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Knuts Matrēvics to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC Whiskey Team's zone, Viesturs Medinskis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vilis Baturiņš came out of the goal and Viesturs Medinskis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Viesturs Medinskis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, FC Whiskey Team's goalkeeper Vilis Baturiņš had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tadeo Lartaun. After a rather tough play, FC Whiskey Team's Zigrīds Spandegs got a free kick in the 44th minute. Vilis Baturiņš made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Felix Janko sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of FC BALTINAVA booed when FC Whiskey Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ainārs Spincis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, FC Whiskey Team's goal looked a bit too open when Viesturs Medinskis came free, but Vilis Baturiņš reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Knuts Matrēvics to make the kick off. FC BALTINAVA's Viesturs Medinskis got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 53 minutes into the match, Carolo Franco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vilis Baturiņš. FC Whiskey Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carolo Franco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 57th minute, Aldis Krumholds got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 59 minutes, Carolo Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC BALTINAVA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carolo Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vilis Baturiņš stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carolo Franco's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Vilis Baturiņš made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Franco in the 61st minute of play. Viesturs Medinskis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Vilis Baturiņš tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Carolo Franco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Vilis Baturiņš was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Knuts Matrēvics sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vilis Baturiņš didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viesturs Medinskis went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 83rd minute Viesturs Medinskis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilis Baturiņš saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vilis Baturiņš made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Franco in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viesturs Medinskis in the 85th minute of play forced FC Whiskey Team's goalkeeper Vilis Baturiņš to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vilis Baturiņš came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by FC BALTINAVA's Carolo Franco. But to his dismay, Carolo Franco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 92nd minute, Everts Kalpotājs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denver Mayo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the FC BALTINAVA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
