Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) Sandris Lapains blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anšlavs Pavasars having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Matishi's zone, Ginters Stilbis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anšlavs Pavasars came out of the goal and Ginters Stilbis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FK Teikas Ruņči's Izidors Kitmanovs got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute, Jēkabs Pumpurs made a precise shot to the right of Ritvaldis Zeseris. FK Teikas Ruņči's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Anšlavs Pavasars made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ginters Stilbis in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Matishi's goal looked a bit too open when Sandris Lapains came free, but Anšlavs Pavasars reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Jēkabs Pumpurs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ritvaldis Zeseris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Matishi's zone, Ginters Stilbis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anšlavs Pavasars showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandris Lapains in the 28th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, FK Teikas Ruņči's Ginters Stilbis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anšlavs Pavasars narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anšlavs Pavasars stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ginters Stilbis's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. When FK Teikas Ruņči's Sandris Lapains in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daumants Cinkurs to make the kick off. In the 61st minute Nils Silaunieks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ritvaldis Zeseris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, FK Teikas Ruņči was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnuss Basēns to maneuver through the defense. Matishi's Anšlavs Pavasars proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Matishi from getting a goal against them. After 68 minutes, Nils Silaunieks mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matishi and the FK Teikas Ruņči players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jēkabs Pumpurs in the 80th minute of play forced FK Teikas Ruņči's goalkeeper Ritvaldis Zeseris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ginters Stilbis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Anšlavs Pavasars when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With 82 minutes on the clock, Izidors Kitmanovs commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 90 minutes into the match, FK Teikas Ruņči's goal looked a bit too open when Jēkabs Pumpurs came free, but Ritvaldis Zeseris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Matishi fans cheered their team off the field, for while FK Teikas Ruņči had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
