Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) FC Whiskey Team's Knuts Matrēvics started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anšlavs Pavasars made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Ziedonis Jauntēvs sent off a good shot on target. Ziedonis Jauntēvs scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anšlavs Pavasars, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Knuts Matrēvics took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Anšlavs Pavasars to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of FC Whiskey Team booed when Matishi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laimis Surkovs-Vāvere didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anšlavs Pavasars made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Ziedonis Jauntēvs sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the match, Matishi's goal looked a bit too open when Knuts Matrēvics came free, but Anšlavs Pavasars reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anšlavs Pavasars was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Ziedonis Jauntēvs capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ziedonis Jauntēvs really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Daumants Cinkurs hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 26th match minute, Matishi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laimis Surkovs-Vāvere to maneuver through the defense. Ziedonis Jauntēvs struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Anšlavs Pavasars didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Whiskey Team. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Ziedonis Jauntēvs managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Whiskey Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Ziedonis Jauntēvs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anšlavs Pavasars breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Daumants Cinkurs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Jēkabs Pumpurs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ziedonis Jauntēvs struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Anšlavs Pavasars didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Whiskey Team. When Knuts Matrēvics got free in front of the goal in the 42nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Anšlavs Pavasars was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Vilis Baturiņš took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jēkabs Pumpurs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jēkabs Pumpurs's late challenge caught a FC Whiskey Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jēkabs Pumpurs helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Matishi's Jēkabs Pumpurs got a free kick in the 47th minute. FC Whiskey Team's Knuts Matrēvics managed to work through Matishi's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Knuts Matrēvics dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to FC Whiskey Team getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Aleksejs Pīgoznis hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knuts Matrēvics in the 64th minute of play forced Matishi's goalkeeper Anšlavs Pavasars to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Ziedonis Jauntēvs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Whiskey Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Helvijs Paulukēvics hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Ziedonis Jauntēvs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matishi's Anšlavs Pavasars played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Knuts Matrēvics in the 79th minute of play. Anšlavs Pavasars showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Knuts Matrēvics in the 81st minute of the match. Jēkabs Pumpurs kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knuts Matrēvics in the 85th minute of play forced Matishi's goalkeeper Anšlavs Pavasars to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ainārs Spincis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anšlavs Pavasars read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. A collision led to Matishi getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Persijs Bērsons hit a great ball. There was no doubt that FC Whiskey Team were the better team. FC Whiskey Team's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
