Spectators: 8427 (Terracing: 6927, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) Ādolfs Kalacis made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Valters Pugacs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neftchi Baku FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valters Pugacs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valters Pugacs got free with Rūdis Dāvidsons in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rūdis Dāvidsons came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Neftchi Baku FC's Raitis Bundzenieks. But to his dismay, Raitis Bundzenieks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 20 minutes, Jānis Serpovskis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Neftchi Baku FC and the SK Pusmucovo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Neftchi Baku FC's Jānis Serpovskis got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 25 minutes of play, SK Pusmucovo's Arnolds Jonitāns made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Agnis Tamans was left in no man's land by his defense there! Agnis Tamans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ilmārs Spivaks-Lode went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of SK Pusmucovo booed when Neftchi Baku FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dzidris Birkmanis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valters Pugacs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valters Pugacs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rūdis Dāvidsons having to interfere. Valters Pugacs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rūdis Dāvidsons was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ilgonis Nosuls showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 49 minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valters Pugacs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Agnis Tamans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ādolfs Kalacis in the 59th minute of play. Ilmārs Spivaks-Lode kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The Neftchi Baku FC fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Neftchi Baku FC's Valters Pugacs looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Neftchi Baku FC's Valters Pugacs in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SK Pusmucovo's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valters Pugacs in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Agnis Tamans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludis Bogatskis, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Neftchi Baku FC's Ilgonis Nosuls got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agnis Tamans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnolds Jonitāns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valters Pugacs in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rūdis Dāvidsons prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valters Pugacs might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rūdis Dāvidsons. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valters Pugacs ran back to his position shaking his head. Valters Pugacs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valters Pugacs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rūdis Dāvidsons having to interfere.
