Spectators: 10691 (Terracing: 8000, Seating: 2491, VIP seats: 200) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ilmārs Kopāns made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to FK BJSS getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Arvīds Ancveriņš hit a great ball. In the 7th minute Pēteris Laupacis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Setz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars Setz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toms Boze, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute of the match FK BJSS got a corner. Fk Kurzeme's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Markuss Zitkēvičs ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on FK BJSS's corner Markuss Zitkēvičs fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lars Setz quite easily take care of the ball. In the 17th minute Fred Mériau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alnis Mežavecis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Toms Boze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lars Setz was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 23rd minute Ilmārs Kopāns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alnis Mežavecis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes FK BJSS got a freekick which was hit by Arvils Barkēvičs. After 25 minutes of play, Fk Kurzeme's Charlie Gardel made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alnis Mežavecis was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 28 minutes, Pēteris Laupacis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK BJSS and the Fk Kurzeme players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th minute, Pēteris Laupacis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toms Boze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Setz having to interfere. If Toms Boze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Arvīds Ancveriņš notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Fk Kurzeme's Lars Setz. Lars Setz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toms Boze was the one to do the kick off. If Markuss Zitkēvičs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Célestin Harter fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fk Kurzeme's protests and gave Célestin Harter a yellow card for diving instead. Lars Setz came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by FK BJSS's Arvīds Ancveriņš. But to his dismay, Arvīds Ancveriņš quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Markuss Zitkēvičs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toms Boze in the 61st minute of play forced Fk Kurzeme's goalkeeper Lars Setz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Andris Freimentāls notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FK BJSS's Alnis Mežavecis. Alnis Mežavecis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alnis Mežavecis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilmārs Kopāns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars Setz made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Arvīds Ancveriņš sent off a good shot on target. When Ilmārs Kopāns fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fk Kurzeme's protests and gave Ilmārs Kopāns a yellow card for diving instead. Lars Setz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toms Boze in the 71st minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Toms Boze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lars Setz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 74 minutes into the game, Raitis Līgatnieks was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK BJSS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fk Kurzeme the free kick. In the 76th minute, Arvīds Ancveriņš left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FK BJSS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. After a rather tough play, FK BJSS's Helvijs Kundziņš got a free kick in the 78th minute. Alnis Mežavecis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilmārs Kopāns, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Fk Kurzeme's Lars Setz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toms Boze in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fk Kurzeme's Marģers Gaubšteins got a free kick in the 85th minute. The supporters of FK BJSS booed when Fk Kurzeme was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marģers Gaubšteins didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Fk Kurzeme's goal looked a bit too open when Markuss Zitkēvičs came free, but Lars Setz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, FK BJSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markuss Zitkēvičs to maneuver through the defense. Lars Setz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristaps Voicehovics in the 95th minute of play. Kristaps Voicehovics took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lars Setz. Lars Setz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. The FK BJSS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FK BJSS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
