Eskil Lövgren was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Egons Ozollapa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Egons Ozollapa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 13th minute, Kārlis Dzintars made a precise shot to the right of Eskil Lövgren. FC Brankas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 17thth minute of the game Kārlis Dzintars who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Brankas's Eskil Lövgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eskil Lövgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egons Ozollapa, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egons Ozollapa in the 19th minute of play forced FC Brankas's goalkeeper Eskil Lövgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Kārlis Dzintars left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DZINTARS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Henrihs Linkūns fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eskil Lövgren having to interfere. Pål Bergmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igors Eidusējiņš, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Pål Bergmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zemgus Lakstenis in the 25th minute of the match. Eskil Lövgren made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Ģirts Ozols sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the match, Henrihs Linkūns had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eskil Lövgren. FC Brankas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrihs Linkūns was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 32nd minute Kārlis Dzintars shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Lövgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, FC Brankas's goal looked a bit too open when Kārlis Dzintars came free, but Eskil Lövgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When DZINTARS's Henrihs Linkūns in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Brankas's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, DZINTARS's Kārlis Dzintars got a free kick in the 37th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carl Helström was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Henrihs Linkūns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Lövgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Brankas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Egons Ozollapa was slow to take the kick. During this time DZINTARS's players had a chance to rest. DZINTARS's Kārlis Dzintars was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eskil Lövgren in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 58thth minute of the game Henrihs Linkūns who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Brankas's Eskil Lövgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the match, FC Brankas's goal looked a bit too open when Kārlis Dzintars came free, but Eskil Lövgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Henrihs Linkūns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Lövgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 minutes of play, DZINTARS's Kārlis Dzintars made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eskil Lövgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! DZINTARS made a substitution. Kristofers Pielis replaced Kārlis Dzintars. Eskil Lövgren came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by DZINTARS's Henrihs Linkūns. But to his dismay, Henrihs Linkūns quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Eskil Lövgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ģirts Ozols went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Eskil Lövgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristofers Pielis, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Pål Bergmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zemgus Lakstenis in the 80th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Henrihs Linkūns had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eskil Lövgren. After a defensive mix-up in FC Brankas's zone, Ģirts Ozols stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eskil Lövgren came out of the goal and Ģirts Ozols tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the match, Henrihs Linkūns had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eskil Lövgren. FC Brankas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrihs Linkūns was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. After 92 minutes of play, DZINTARS's Henrihs Linkūns made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eskil Lövgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that DZINTARS were the better team. DZINTARS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
