After 44 played minutes, FC Riga's Voldemārs Cariņš shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mareks Vārpiņš came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Riga reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kip Bout in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mareks Vārpiņš saved Insane Raccoons FC from getting behind. Pedro Luís Fantini hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kip Bout made a kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Mariuss Knutiņš put in a rough tackle. 55 minutes into the game, one of Insane Raccoons FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kip Bout in the 79th minute of play forced Insane Raccoons FC's goalkeeper Mareks Vārpiņš to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
