Insane Raccoons FC's Mareks Vārpiņš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indris Tomass in the 2nd minute of play. 3 minutes into the match, Insane Raccoons FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andžejs Baumerts came free, but Mareks Vārpiņš reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andžejs Baumerts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 9th minute, Jāzeps Pics made a precise shot to the right of Mareks Vārpiņš. Insane Raccoons FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Teofilo Cucao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13th play minutes Reinholds Jaunzems shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Mareks Vārpiņš and just under the crossbar into goal. 15 minutes into the match, SK Annenieki's Reinholds Jaunzems sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mareks Vārpiņš narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teofilo Cucao took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jānis Lielais. Jānis Lielais dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Andžejs Baumerts sped through Insane Raccoons FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mareks Vārpiņš. Mareks Vārpiņš made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indris Tomass in the 26th minute of play. Insane Raccoons FC's Mareks Vārpiņš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indris Tomass in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Andžejs Baumerts cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Mareks Vārpiņš was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mareks Vārpiņš showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indris Tomass in the 40th minute of the match. Teofilo Cucao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jānis Lielais having to interfere. The supporters of Insane Raccoons FC booed when SK Annenieki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Drosmis Kalnaiza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andžejs Baumerts made a kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Indris Tomass who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Insane Raccoons FC's Mareks Vārpiņš was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 52ndth minute of the game Andžejs Baumerts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Insane Raccoons FC's Mareks Vārpiņš was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mareks Vārpiņš came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by SK Annenieki's Andžejs Baumerts. But to his dismay, Andžejs Baumerts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. In the 55th minute, SK Annenieki's Andžejs Baumerts ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mareks Vārpiņš. Mareks Vārpiņš yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Ingus Rencis hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Jānis Lielais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Cucao in the 65th minute of play. Mareks Vārpiņš showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Indris Tomass, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute of the match SK Annenieki got a corner. Insane Raccoons FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Reinholds Jaunzems ran over to the corner to take the kick. Indris Tomass was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Jānis Lielais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Cucao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mareks Vārpiņš was a little too slow when Andžejs Baumerts got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-7. SK Annenieki's Santis Krūzītis was substituted for Normunds Vēbers. In the 80th minute, Andžejs Baumerts fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mareks Vārpiņš, passed just outside the right post. Insane Raccoons FC were furious when Ojārs Juskens was red carded, 82 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 81 minutes into the game, one of Insane Raccoons FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave SK Annenieki a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vilis Lettlands, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Insane Raccoons FC's Mareks Vārpiņš. 1-8. Insane Raccoons FC's Mareks Vārpiņš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinholds Jaunzems in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Insane Raccoons FC's goalkeeper Mareks Vārpiņš had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andžejs Baumerts. 92 minutes into the game, Vilis Lettlands recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mareks Vārpiņš. Vilis Lettlands showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-9. Andžejs Baumerts struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Mareks Vārpiņš didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Annenieki. Insane Raccoons FC's Mareks Vārpiņš proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Insane Raccoons FC from getting a goal against them.
