Spectators: 7589 (Terracing: 5800, Seating: 1789, VIP seats: 0) FK JAMAR's Sigitas Šinkūnas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Sigitas Šinkūnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FK JAMAR booed when FC Money Longer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eurelijus Daknevičius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Šarūnas Satkauskas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vytaras Inda having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Šarūnas Satkauskas in the 16th minute of play forced FK JAMAR's goalkeeper Vytaras Inda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Money Longer's zone, Sigitas Šinkūnas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artūras Sadeckas came out of the goal and Sigitas Šinkūnas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, Šarūnas Satkauskas made a precise shot to the right of Vytaras Inda. FK JAMAR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 27 minutes into the match, FC Money Longer's goalkeeper Artūras Sadeckas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugenijus Balandis. FC Money Longer's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Sigitas Šinkūnas scored to the left of an out of position Artūras Sadeckas, making the score, 1-1. 42 minutes into the game, Ričardas Pyragis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK JAMAR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Money Longer the free kick. Vytaras Inda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vygantas Kaučikas in the 44th minute of play. When Ričardas Pyragis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played. Ričardas Pyragis kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Šarūnas Satkauskas made a kick off. Vygantas Kaučikas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Vytaras Inda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 minutes of play, FK JAMAR's Sigitas Šinkūnas made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artūras Sadeckas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 58 minutes into the game, Stasys Anužis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Artūras Sadeckas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stasys Anužis scored 4-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artūras Sadeckas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute, Stasys Anužis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sigitas Šinkūnas scored 5-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artūras Sadeckas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Money Longer's Artūras Sadeckas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stasys Anužis in the 71st minute of play. FK JAMAR's Stasys Anužis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gintautas Dundulis in the 77 minute of the game. In the 78th minute, Merūnas Čebatorius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FK JAMAR getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ričardas Bitė hit a great ball. Sigitas Šinkūnas might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artūras Sadeckas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sigitas Šinkūnas ran back to his position shaking his head. Vygantas Kaučikas struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Vytaras Inda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Money Longer. Stasys Anužis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artūras Sadeckas having to interfere. Sigitas Šinkūnas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artūras Sadeckas having to make a save. When Sigitas Šinkūnas came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the FK JAMAR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sigitas Šinkūnas couldn't finish the play. Mantvydas Nekrašas hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the game, FK JAMAR's Stasys Anužis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artūras Sadeckas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FK JAMAR had played much better football throughout.
