Romualdas Latvėnas struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Vytaras Smilgys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Change name. If Aidas Jasas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11 minutes of play, Airenai's Gvidonas Babravičius made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bronislovas Barkus was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 14 minutes, Gražvydas Čepas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Airenai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gražvydas Čepas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Change name's goal looked a bit too open when Gvidonas Babravičius came free, but Bronislovas Barkus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romualdas Latvėnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Gražvydas Čepas notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Change name's Bronislovas Barkus. Bronislovas Barkus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 25 minutes into the match, Change name's goal looked a bit too open when Gvidonas Babravičius came free, but Bronislovas Barkus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erlandas Daunoras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vytaras Smilgys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romualdas Latvėnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Gvidonas Babravičius struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Bronislovas Barkus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Airenai. After 43 minutes, Eigirdas Gintila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Airenai and the Change name players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes Airenai got a freekick which was hit by Eigirdas Gintila. Gvidonas Babravičius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Bronislovas Barkus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romualdas Latvėnas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Gražvydas Čepas fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bronislovas Barkus, passed just outside the right post. Vytaras Smilgys stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romualdas Latvėnas's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Gvidonas Babravičius kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bronislovas Barkus. That made the score 0-3 in the 61 minute of play. Gvidonas Babravičius's late challenge caught a Change name's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gvidonas Babravičius helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute, Gvidonas Babravičius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vytaras Smilgys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romualdas Latvėnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zigmas Alysas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Vytaras Smilgys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zigmas Alysas's late challenge caught a Airenai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zigmas Alysas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Change name's Zigmas Alysas got a free kick in the 76th minute. Gvidonas Babravičius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Bronislovas Barkus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gvidonas Babravičius in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bronislovas Barkus saved Change name from getting behind. Lukas Rinkevičius kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The supporters of Airenai booed when Change name was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauras Daukša didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gražvydas Čepas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Bronislovas Barkus skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vytaras Smilgys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romualdas Latvėnas in the 95th minute of the match.
