A collision led to Epson getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bronius Bikulčius hit a great ball. The supporters of LAUSANNE booed when Epson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bronius Bikulčius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tautvydas Pažarauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes in the game, Tautvydas Pažarauskas dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 39th minute, Bronius Bikulčius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentas Plekavičius's late challenge caught a LAUSANNE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentas Plekavičius helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Epson's Valentas Plekavičius got a free kick in the 41st minute. Bernardas Spudulis hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Linas Laurinavičius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adas Marčiauskas having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Vėjas Katkus struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Arnas Kivilius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Epson. In the 52nd minute of the match, Tautvydas Pažarauskas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adas Marčiauskas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rupertas Povilaitis in the 54th minute of play forced Epson's goalkeeper Adas Marčiauskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Bronius Bikulčius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnas Kivilius. LAUSANNE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bronius Bikulčius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 57th match minute, Epson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rapolas Matūzas to maneuver through the defense. Arnas Kivilius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bronius Bikulčius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnas Kivilius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristijonas Kelmys in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, LAUSANNE's goal looked a bit too open when Bronius Bikulčius came free, but Arnas Kivilius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vėjas Katkus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rupertas Povilaitis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Adas Marčiauskas made a huge save. In the 70th minute, Vėjas Katkus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Epson's Vėjas Katkus got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 77 played minutes LAUSANNE got a freekick which was hit by Linas Laurinavičius. Arnas Kivilius came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Epson's Kristijonas Kelmys. But to his dismay, Kristijonas Kelmys quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Valentas Plekavičius was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of LAUSANNE booed when Epson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentas Plekavičius didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, LAUSANNE's Adas Marčiauskas threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tautvydas Pažarauskas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Linas Laurinavičius got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Linas Laurinavičius kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Kristijonas Kelmys managed to get in a good position for a shot. Epson's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristijonas Kelmys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnas Kivilius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 88 minutes of play, Epson's Bronius Bikulčius made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnas Kivilius was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kristijonas Kelmys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Arnas Kivilius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 92 minutes, Kristijonas Kelmys managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Epson's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristijonas Kelmys was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute Bronius Bikulčius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnas Kivilius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bronius Bikulčius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epson's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
