They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomas Kaušas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rokas Naujokaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orestas Babelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rimvydas Daukantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FK Rimku's Rokas Naujokaitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orestas Babelis in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match, Rimvydas Daukantas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rokas Naujokaitis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rokas Naujokaitis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Rokas Naujokaitis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rimvydas Daukantas in the 96th minute. Naujakiemis played a much better game than FK Rimku and deserved their victory. The FK Rimku players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
