Dangiras Paliūnas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romas Žigelis in the 5th minute of the match. Gintautas Grakauskas scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vilius Kuprevičius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eugenijus Skinderis in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vilius Kuprevičius, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to FK VIDINIS getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Gintautas Baracevičius hit a great ball. After 14 played minutes FK VIDINIS got a freekick which was hit by Audrius Alekveravičius. With his leg Vilius Kuprevičius managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Strakalai's Eugenijus Skinderis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eugenijus Skinderiss short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Vilius Kuprevičius to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Strakalai's Eugenijus Skinderis got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FK VIDINIS getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Romas Žigelis hit a great ball. FK VIDINIS's Vilius Kuprevičius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save FK VIDINIS from getting a goal against them. If Romas Žigelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Audrius Alekveravičius came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the FK VIDINIS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Audrius Alekveravičius couldn't finish the play. Vilius Kuprevičius stood somewhat misplaced when Eugenijus Skinderis came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 35 minute. After 40 played minutes Gintautas Grakauskas rounded FK VIDINIS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. 4-0 became the score in the 45th minute when Eugenijus Skinderis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugenijus Skinderis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dangiras Paliūnas made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Audrius Alekveravičius sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugenijus Skinderis in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vilius Kuprevičius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 62 played minutes FK VIDINIS got a freekick which was hit by Romualdas Grubliauskas. 68 minutes into the match, Eugenijus Skinderis notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of FK VIDINIS's Vilius Kuprevičius. Vilius Kuprevičius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Strakalai's Adolfas Balašauskas got a free kick in the 73rd minute. A collision led to FK VIDINIS getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Gintautas Baracevičius hit a great ball. If Eugenijus Skinderis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gintautas Grakauskas took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vilius Kuprevičius. Vilius Kuprevičius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. FK VIDINIS's Vilius Kuprevičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vykintas Tarasevičius in the 88th minute of play. Eugenijus Skinderis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adolfas Balašauskas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vilius Kuprevičius. FK VIDINIS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 95th minute Eugenijus Skinderis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilius Kuprevičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Strakalai walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
